Sheila James-Hamler
Vice President of Financial Management
Sheila is vice president of financial management at FRC. In this role, Sheila manages FRC’s business and operation areas including financial services, systems management, administrative services, and marketing. Her primary focus at FRC is the establishment of financial policies and systems. She also manages the CRM system, overseeing database development, collection and reporting of client support and sales activity, as well as the subscription distribution process. Sheila was instrumental in the development and implementation of the Web-based delivery portal for all FRC products. She is responsible for Web site maintenance and associate training and development at FRC. Before joining FRC in 1997, Sheila worked at the law firm of Shearman and Sterling as the office services manager, where she coordinated the overflow workforce program, which consisted of negotiating with and allocating temporary human resources in support of the business, and managed the reproduction and procurement operations for the firm. Sheila was also manager of the Client Records Center. In addition to overseeing the department, she was project manager for the design and construction of a new center, the transition to an automated records management system, and the training of all employees. Sheila holds a Bachelors of Science degree in business administration from Northeastern University.
