Todd Haedrich is senior vice president, director of business development and marketing for Financial Research Corporation (FRC) where he is responsible for building and managing client relationships as well as guiding the firm’s marketing and brand development. In this role, he aligns FRC’s thought leadership and competitive intelligence platform with client’s needs to maximize their business and strategic growth. Mr. Haedrich has an extensive background in business development, financial structuring, brand strategy, and product management. Most recently, Mr. Haedrich served as a director at Mercatus where his primary focus was on originating and developing early-stage investment opportunities. Prior to Mercatus, Mr. Haedrich spent six years building My Flat in London, an international consumer products business, that included strategic financing, global manufacturing, sales, and distribution. Before that, he was a vice president at BancBoston Ventures, where he managed a $20 million portfolio and was responsible for creating and investing in business opportunities in the technology and communications industries. Mr. Haedrich also held senior-level positions at FleetBoston's consumer business and Internet business planning and development group. He led a team of strategists to maximize new technology, and helped the business units more effectively recognize opportunities, analyze business cases, negotiate contracts, and launch new products. Mr. Haedrich completed graduate studies in Computer Science at the University of Manchester, U.K., and received his undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Bowdoin College.
