Lynette DeWitt

Research Director, Sub-Advisory Market

Lynette DeWitt is Research Director, Sub-Advisory Market at Financial Research Corporation, where she focuses on analysis of sub-advised mutual fund and variable annuity industry trends. Lynette has proven expertise in emerging product markets, and has developed an in-depth knowledge of both the health savings account and lifecycle fund markets.

Lynette has co-authored a number of FRC studies including Advisor Insight – Wholesaler Effectiveness, Mutual Fund Market Sizing 2007–2012, Harnessing the Power of Value-Added Programs, and Influencing Mutual Fund Sales. Lynette is also the author of many FRC publications focused on lifecycle funds and HSAs. She is regularly quoted in the media and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and business organizations.

Prior to joining FRC in 2004, Lynette worked at Fidelity Investments as a competitive market analyst, researching mutual fund, and discount and online brokerage industry trends. During the emergence of the online financial services marketplace, Lynette built and managed the financial services Website for edu.com, and functioned as relationship manager for Fortune 500 firms offering mutual fund, banking, and student loan services.

Lynette holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Atlantic Union College and a minor in Music. She also received an MBA in Marketing from California State University, San Bernardino.
