Lynette DeWitt

Director of Sub-Advisory and Lifecycle Fund Research

Lynette DeWitt is director of sub-advisory and lifecycle fund research at Financial Research Corporation (FRC). Ms. DeWitt has proven expertise in emerging product markets, and has also developed in-depth knowledge of the health savings account market.

Ms. DeWitt recently authored Building a Better Sub-Advisory Business (2009), and the Future Outlook for Lifecycle Funds (2008) studies. She also co-authored a number of other FRC studies including Advisor Insight – Wholesaler Effectiveness, Mutual Fund Market Sizing 2007–2012, Harnessing the Power of Value-Added Programs, and Influencing Mutual Fund Sales. Ms. DeWitt is also the author of many FRC publications focused on lifecycle funds and HSAs. She is regularly quoted in the media and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and business organizations.
Prior to joining FRC in 2004, Ms. DeWitt worked at Fidelity Investments as a competitive market analyst, researching mutual fund, and discount and online brokerage industry trends. During the emergence of the online financial services marketplace, Ms. DeWitt built and managed the financial services Website for edu.com, and functioned as relationship manager for Fortune 500 firms offering mutual fund, banking, and student loan services.

Ms. DeWitt holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Atlantic Union College and a minor in music. She also received an MBA in marketing from California State University, San Bernardino.
